Role:
To work directly and coordinates with families and Stratford CAP to assure the implementation and execution of the Free Diaper Distribution Program. This is a Full Time grant funded position lasting approximately 18 months
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
60% Works directly with Stratford CAP and TCCAP staff to assure the smooth implementation of the program. Organizes Community Partners for diaper distribution. Screens families for program eligibility. Ensures program participants are tracked.
20% Promotes comprehensive awareness of the program according to grant guidelines. Makes public aware by communicating with families and program partners to ensure delivery of items.
15% Prepares and submits all required reports in an efficient and timely manner and assures compliance with all policies and procedures associated with the grant.
5% Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Performance Measurements:
1. Performs multiple responsibilities in an effective manner and performs and executes all assigned duties as requested.
2. Correspondence and communications are completed in a timely manner with proper follow through and documentation. Uses diplomacy and tact to maintain harmonious and effective work relationships with coworkers and constituents.
3. Executes and completes assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner within established deadlines and parameters to ensure project achieves expected outcomes.
4. Identifies and analyzes problems and formulates alternative solutions. Takes or recommends appropriate actions and follows up to ensure problems are resolved.
5. Ability to exercise high level thinking, discernment, common sense and independent judgement and is able to adapt to changing priorities and demands as required.
6. Works efficiently within agency policies and procedures while fostering public trust and confidence. Shares information and resources with other to promote a positive and collaborative work relationship.
Experience Two (2) years of successful project management.
Education Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
Interpersonal Skills Work frequently involves working with families. Role also requires the ability to collaborate with Lead Agency (Stratford CAP) with a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
Other Skills Solid working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office Suite, and telephones.
Work Environment Work will be done mostly in an office setting. Travel will be required.
